A focused Serbian learning tool

Ćirilio teaches a 5,000-word curriculum through small lessons and spaced reviews. Learners can work in Serbian Latin or Cyrillic and use pronunciation, visual mnemonics, and bilingual examples to make each word easier to retrieve.

Who builds Ćirilio

Ćirilio was created by Stefan Edelman and is developed in Belgrade. Product, curriculum, and engineering decisions are maintained directly rather than outsourced to an anonymous content network.

How content is selected and reviewed

The curriculum combines common language, beginner usefulness, topic coverage, and a progressive teaching sequence. Each item stores both scripts, an English meaning, part of speech, pronunciation audio where approved, a mnemonic, and reviewed example sentences. Editors can audit changes and learner feedback inside the product’s content workflow.

What Ćirilio does—and does not do

Ćirilio is built for vocabulary retention and script familiarity. It does not replace a Serbian teacher, live speaking, extended listening, or a complete grammar reference. We recommend combining these tools.
